COLORS OF MY SOUL
Colors Of My Soul is a non-narrative short film composed of moments gathered over the last three years across 9 states and 2 countries. Inspired by the legendary visual language of Ron Fricke’s Samsara and Baraka, the film leans on rhythm, movement, and observation rather than story, allowing images to speak for themselves. It is deeply personal—an honest reflection of how Taylor sees the world and a quiet testament to his instinctive and expressive style of shooting.

Origin Of The Film
Colors of My Soul was filmed over the course of five years across the United States and Central America, including Antigua and Lake Atitlán in Guatemala; Los Angeles and Chico in California; Bend, Sisters, and Florence in Oregon; Oahu, Hawaii; Wilcox, Arizona; Nesmith, South Carolina; Monticello, Georgia; and Ashton, Idaho. The film is composed entirely of footage captured during personal travel and professional documentary work. After collecting nearly 72TB of footage, these moments were later curated and assembled into a non-narrative visual archive reflecting memory, movement, and emotional experience.
